Ahadhiyya Daham Pasal Final Certificate Examination 2026 – Applications
The Department of Examinations, Sri Lanka has invited applications for the Ahadhiyya Daham Pasal Final Certificate Examination 2026, relevant to the year 2025. The examination is scheduled to be held in October 2026.
The examination will be conducted in Sinhala, Tamil and English. Candidates are allowed to select only one language medium, and the selected medium cannot be changed after submitting the application.

Who Can Apply?
Candidates applying for the examination must satisfy the qualifications specified by the Department of Examinations. Eligible applicants include students who have passed Grade 10 at an Ahadhiyya School registered with the Department of Muslim Religious and Cultural Affairs and completed the required period of study.
Candidates who have passed Islam as a subject at the G.C.E. Ordinary Level or G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination may also qualify. Those who have passed the Senior School Certificate Examination in Islam and Arabic subjects are also eligible according to the official notice.
How to Apply
Applications should be submitted through the Principal of the relevant Ahadhiyya Daham Pasal or Arabic College. Application forms have been sent to registered institutions and can also be downloaded from the official Department of Examinations website at www.doenets.lk.
Completed applications should be forwarded according to the instructions issued by the Department of Examinations. Incomplete applications and applications received after the closing date will be rejected.
Examination Subjects
The examination consists of four papers, with each paper having a duration of three hours. The main subject areas are:
- Principles and Fundamentals of Islam and Arabic Language
- Islamic Law
- Islamic History
- Islamic Values
Candidates must pass all four subjects in order to obtain a pass grade for the examination.
