The Immigration and Emigration Act will be used to bring draft regulations for the free visas to Parliament.
The Minister of Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs proposed the idea, which the Cabinet approved.
The government wants to improve Sri Lanka’s standing as a top travel destination and grow the tourism sector.
During a press conference, Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa revealed the chosen nations.
