Applications to GCE Advanced level (A/L) Vocational stream to study in the academic year 2025 are currently being received by the Ministry of education. This programme provides a comprehensive route where students (whether they have passed or failed the GCE Ordinary Level {O/L} examination) acquire a professional qualification by continuing education at the secondary level.
Programme Overview
The A/L Vocational Stream is structured to provide the students with academic as well as technical knowledge and thus is able to move into vocational training level by highly achieving Grade12 and continuing their training at National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 4.
The students are free to choose between 28 subject areas to suit the modern industry requirement and personal interests.
Eligibility Criteria
This programme is open to:
- Any student who has sat the GCE O/L examination in 2021, 2022 or 2023,
- Students that have passed O/L examination and those that have failed the O/L examination
- No age limit applies.
