The Department of Examinations has said that the G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) Examination will take place from November 10 to December 5, 2025.
The Exam Department said in a statement that they will accept online applications from June 26 to July 21, 2025.
School applicants must apply through their principals, whereas private candidates must apply on their own using their National Identity Card (NIC) number.
Applicants must carefully study the rules and submit their applications according to the instructions on the official websites, www.doenets.lk or www.onlineexams.gov.lk/eic.
The government recommended that you should keep a printed copy of the application for future reference.
The Exam Department also noted that school administrators have already been given usernames and passwords for school applications.
The department also said that no extensions will be given for applications that are turned in after the midnight deadline on July 21.
