Educational Qualifications for Grama Niladhari :(A) I. Should have passed the GCE O/L in Six Subjects with credit passes to at least 4 subjects at one sitting including credit passes for one subject from Sinhala/Tamil as the first language II. Mathematics
or
(B) I. Should have passed National Certificate of General Education in six subjects at one sitting with four passes at least in Grade “B” including First language II. Mathematics
or
(C) I. Should have passed GCE O/L Examination in six subjects at one
sitting with credit passes for at least four subjects including one subject from Sinhala/Tamil as the first language II. One subjects out of Arithmetic, Commercial Arithmetic, Elementary
Mathematics or Pure Mathematics
And
(D) Should have passed all the subjects at the GCE A/L Examination
