GCE A/L 2026 Online Application – Department of Examinations Sri Lanka
It is hereby notified that the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination – 2026 is scheduled to be conducted from 10th August 2026 to 05th September 2026. Accordingly, instruction to complete the applications tor the private candidates appearing for the G.C.E. (A/L) Examination are provided herewith and the closing date is 24.04.2026 to receive the applications.
Applications for this examination should be submitted only through online method. Instructions to complete the application are published via the official website of the Department of Examinations (https://www.doenets.lk/) or in the online examination website (https://onlineexams.gov.lk/eic) or via the official mobile application (“DoE” mobile app) and the application can be submitted by logging into that Applications of private candidates for this examination will be accepted from 24th March 2026 to 12.00 midnight of 24th April 2026. Each private candidate should complete and submit the application online by visiting the above website after reading this notification thoroughly and realizing it fully. Special attention should be paid to enter accurately the selected Town and Subjects to appear for the examination. Applicants are allowed only to apply for maximum of 03 main subjects. In addition, the applicants can apply for the Subject No.12- Common General Test and the Subject No. 13- Genera English as per the necessity
